PROTOTYPE Z-axis linear carriage for my CNC plasma cutter. Using a old 80$ anet A8 kit off of amazon for parts. Will have to shield the bottom with some aluminum foil till i can see if this is going to work. if it does i will make the parts out of aluminum or steel. (merely a copy of a basic design.) Using 40mm square tube with one side cut out for the movement. Could modify design to use electrical strut. mounting z-axis to a linear rail that is doing the y-axis movement.
