Linear guide

thingiverse

This is my take on a linear slide build with an 3D printer. It is still a work in progress. I plan to use this on a light CNC milling machine. I would like to hear what you thing about it! Will update in the future with connecting rails and mounting options. The current prototype I've build works really smooth an there is hardly any play. Bearing play can be reduced by applying tension to the screws that clamp the 'small' piece on to the rail. The holes are sized to thread themselves if M3 bolts are used. I've added the Solidworks 2019 (educational version) files for you to customize if needed.
