This lion is one of two nearly identical bronze animals prowling alongside the steps of a town hall. Mounted on a pedestal, it was a bit hard to reach, but not for Leo – its namesake! Leo’s expanded field of view ensured that the scanning process took just 7 minutes, while the long scanning distance allowed reaching most areas from one scanning point – the area around the monument was being renovated, so many other otherwise good scanning points were temporarily inaccessible. Direct sunlight on this day could have posed additional challenges, but Leo experienced no problems whatsoever with tracking . Scanning time: 7 minutes. Processing time: 10 minutes.
