Replacement handrail stanchion assembly for Lionel Trains MPC-era GP-20 locomotive Print Settings Printer: Sindoh 3Dwox Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 layer height Infill: N/A Notes: This .STL is set to FINE quality. Because this print is so small, you may want to try 0.1 or 0.15 layer height for more detail (I used 0.2 and it was ok for my use). 3 inner, outer, and wall shells in Simplify 3D made it print solid for me without infill. PLA will yield best results but be careful installing since PLA can be brittle. Print laying on its side with posts parallel with print bed. I could not get manual supports to print under the bottom clips and posts...maybe too small? You will need to file down the edges of the bottom clips slightly to make the width of them fit in the metal walkway notches on loco. FYI - Mine printed fine, but if your printer is not up to spec I could expect you to get stringing as it tries to print without supports under the notches and posts. Post-Printing File down edges of bottom clips to fit slots in metal walkway on loco How I Designed This Used an original broken part to get measurements, created from scratch with sketches and extrusions in Fusion 360.
