Power supply case for converting a Harbor Freight ammo box into an RC lipo charger. This unit was designed to work with the 2S and 3S Lipo's that I use, but the power supply is rated for max 18VDC so it would be possible to use for 4s as well. WARNING: NEVER CHARGE OR STORE A LIPO BATTERY INSIDE A SEALED AMMO BOX. Design notes: The standard LIPO charging bags available at Amazon fit directly into the ammo box, leaving just enough room at the bottom of the box for a charging supply. This 3D printed chassis protects the PS and its 120VAC connections. 2 fans on the unit pull air in from punched holes on the front of the ammo box, under the LIPO bag ( see ribs on top chassis cover ) down through the chassis cover vent openings into the power supply, finally exiting the ammo box through the cord openings. The 3D printed grommet for the power cord was sized such that the plug end of the cord could be retracted back into the box during transport. The fans are rated at 12VDC, yet I'm running them at 15VDC. I overlooked that in the original design, will address it if the fans begin to fail. All mechanical connections to the 3D print use heat swaged inserts.
