Liquid Cooling Enclosure Project V2

Liquid Cooling Enclosure Project V2

thingiverse

This is a fresh project that I officially started earlier today. This is a prototype at best, but I figured I'd get all the dimensions hashed out while waiting on parts to arrive. This is intended to be an external enclosure for liquid cooling an MSI GS63VR notebook. I have a few design goals in mind with this project, aside from the benefits of liquid cooling. I want it to to be leak-proof, low profile, and completely reversible, and because it's a notebook, the liquid cooling must be modular with it's own power supply. Dimensions are LxWxH 260mm x 156mm x 184.93mm I'm going for a push/pull setup where ambient air is drawn from the top and vented through the rear. My parts list. Spare CPU/GPU heatsink XSPC X2O 420 Single Bay Reservoir/Pump Combo 2x 120mmx25mm 12v Case Fans 120mm XSPC radiator multiple quick disconnect fittings two G 1/4 Bulkhead Pass through 12v fan controller 96 watt power supply (12v-8A) (overkill I know, but for future proofing) A few other various parts, and some custom copper bending...lol I already see four things that need to be changed so expect an upload soon.
