Liquid Handling Machine

Used to sort, test and provide samples in medical and scientific labs. The machine consists of 4-8 end effectors that move on an x,y or z axis. Hollow tips are picked up to draw liquid from sample tubes, place the liquid in sample "plates" and then the tips are ejected. The image is a combination of Solid works parts and modeling from 3DS Max 2012, rendered with Mental Ray, and composited in After Effects.
