Lithophane Structure for Light With Single 10mm Hole Mount
thingiverse
I used the Creative Hobbies ML2-B6 Small Christmas Tree Wiring Kit from this link and modified the base of the original object to attach the 10mm threaded rod using a panel nut, but since I didn't have one when it was time to assemble the cube, I simply epoxied the 10mm threaded rod in place after cutting it in half. http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Hobbies%C2%AE-ML2-B6-Christmas-Lighting/dp/B015EQEXS4 I used Cura to generate lithophanes. I printed five panels at 132mmx132mmx3mm (130mm squares with a thickness of up to 3mm, plus an extra 1mm border around all sides). This worked out perfectly for the top, but the sides would have been better if they were 130mm in size, including a 1mm border that is printed at a partial thickness. You will still need to get the files from the original object and just replace the bottom piece with mine if you are using the same or a similar light source as I am.
