A small robot was conceptualized by a geometry student, using openSCAD and the MakerBot to grasp the z-axis, code basics, and reinforce intersection, union, and rigid transformations' concepts. The creative process spanned two class periods learning openSCAD, followed by a 2-week self-paced endeavor; the final product was printed with raft and exterior support for stability.
