Little rocket

Little rocket

Created little rocket toy for my son. It can also be used for decoration. Just added 2:1 scale model. Also added small rocket without fin tips and hole for 11mm rocket motor. Print Settings Printer: GEEETech I3 PRO B Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0,2mm Infill: 0% Notes: I used spiralize outer countour (vase mode) in Cura 2.3.0. I used 0,8mm nozzle for printing all parts. For bottom I set 0,8mm thickness, so rocket housing is solid enough for child playing. Also enable cooling, even it is ABS, to get nicer finish on fins and top of rocket. In case of printing larger model, you need to print 3x fin tip or fin tip LED. Only to part body with fins set 1,2mm bottom thickness. Hole is made for 5mm LED and it is lightly bigger so use hot glue for cementing it to the part. For gluing parts together use CA glue or mixture of acetone and ABS filament leftovers. Post-Printing At the end there will be some sanding on fins leading edges, fin tips and cone of rocket. I use nitro thinner and smooth cotton cloth for smoothing surfaces, but acetone vapor will give you even better results.
