LM2596 Case

LM2596 Case

I wanted to power my rPi directly from my printer, so I purchased some LM2596 voltage regulators and wired one straight into the power source. This enclosure holds it securely, although it's a bit loose; however, it works perfectly fine. I printed this case in PLA, PETG, or any other material you prefer, using the settings that work best for you. It doesn't matter which materials or settings I used - just get it done! I've included the STEP files if you want to modify the design. I'm not sure how exporting STEP files works, so the file might include the knock-up of the regulator. Just delete that and you're good to go. This is the regulator I am using: https://hobbycomponents.com/power/215-lm2596-dc-dc-3-35v-adjustable-step-down-power-supply-module
