## HW411 (LM2596 Module) Looks like this is not the first case for this module on Thingiverse. You can simply print this if you need a LM2596 case or use the API to create your own. The two parts of the box are secured using M2.5x16mm screws, which can be configured. ## API I wanted to design a full configurable PCB Box that meets all the needs of similar boxes. Here's what I had in mind: * Size fitting the PCB: The API should receive PCB sizes and the box should have lips for perfect fitting. * Screw the PCB: The API should receive any number of holes definition/positions. * Hold the cables: The design uses zip ties to keep the cables secure. * Hold the box: Uses zip ties as well. The LM2596 box SCAD file is just an example and is attached to this thing. ## Prerequisites for Customization What you need: * Install OpenSCAD from https://www.openscad.org/. * Install libraries (see below). * Create a new file in OpenSCAD. Following libraries must be installed in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\OpenSCAD\libraries. If the folder doesn't exist, create it yourself. Download as ZIP and unzip in libraries: * scad-utils from https://github.com/openscad/scad-utils * agentscad from https://github.com/GillesBouissac/agentscad The result should be: ``` %USERPROFILE% __Documents __ OpenSCAD __ libraries __ agentscad __ scad-utils ```
