STL files of LMS 20 Ton Iron Ore Hopper Wagon. Files are drawn full size and shall need scaling in your slicer program, e.g. 1.31% for 4mm/ft. The hopper body and chassis are separate prints. I have drawn the standard 20 ton ironstone hopper which was produced in various batches, also a version with lower sides which was rarer, and also a version with extended raves which was found in later life commonly in steelworks and colliery use. I have not included every rivet etc as I started on a filament printer and test prints showed these details were not consistently reproduced. They could be produced on a resin printer, which I now have, so I may get round to updating them in due course. The prints are intended as a starting point to construction and detailing. You shall have to scratch build or source some items separately to complete. I have not yet produced brake gear and levers but am working on it. I printed spindle buffers but these were too fragile in resin for general use. Although drawn in 1 to 1 scale the file is optimised for 4mm/ft, so if you work in a different scale you may need to make alterations to produce a viable and resilient model. Images are finished models by Greg Brookes and further information can be found on Kier Hardy's emgauge70s.co.uk website. Decals have been made especially for these models by Cambridge Custom Transfers (Sheet BL189) they are available now and can be ordered from their website. Feel free to amend the file to your own needs, add detail etc. Mainly just make stuff and enjoy it. Jonny
