Week 4 Challenge and Constraints This challenge from Ultimaker was to design a tool that could be used for drawing or sketching while abiding by the constraints of "small" and "teenager" with an expanded parameter of Jeff Koons. "Small" was interpreted to mean that the tool could be used on the go and fit in a bag; the tool is approximately five inches long. The parameter of "teenager" was interpreted to mean that a teenager would like the design. My classmates found the design to be pleasing and humorous. The tool was modeled to look like Jeff Koons' Lobster sculpture. The lobster arms are slightly different though in order to make the arms function as a 90 degree angle for when an artist needs a sharp corner. The claws are also able to hold most pencils and similar sized pens. This function is so that the artist has a holder for two frequently used drawing/sketching utensils.
