I modified the outer circumference of the retaining ring, allowing it to fit snugly over a standard mud-terrain tire. I also designed a makeshift tire balancing adapter that replaces the retaining ring entirely. My original mud-terrain tires were significantly out of balance, and this innovation enables easy mounting on a tire balancer.
