Lockable bike pump

Why does nobody carry a bike pump these days on their bike? Because it gets stolen! In the Netherlands I am all familiar with people taking off their bike pump which they buy with the bike. Why not try to automatically lock the bike pump when locking the bike? I tried to answer this question with the proposition I make in the images. Of course other locks could go through the ring (think of a chain lock). Because the pump is easily attached to the frame by clicking it is not a loose part after unlocking. The proposition shows a small hand pump; of course this could be a bit bigger and could be fancied on other parts of the bike when a chain lock would be used.
