Locomotive EA 060 Electroputere, Craiova

The electric locomotive 060-EA made by Electroputere, Craiova was the protagonist of the electrification in Romania, made from Romanian Railways. I designed this locomotive model, being a railroad enthusiast. The copy was made on a very large scale (1:25) to be able to print in 3d most of the details that i considered important. The locomotive measures in total length 990mm, about one meter. The copy is not perfect in terms of size, as i did not have the real sketches with the locomotive measures. Everything was drawn by me, on my free time with the drawings I could find on the internet. This project is still in progress as it is very large and it consumes a lot of time of designing and printing. Also consumes a lot of filament that is needed to make the samples and the final parts and all the payment is made by me. I wanted to share with you this project i’ve been working on, for a long time, to see what you think of it. Please comment on, your ideas and opinions about this locomotive and the models reproduced on a very large scale. Thank you.
