<p>Having the Loctite 435 glue primer (30ml) bottle topple over a couple of times and (apart from the fumes!) wasted its expensive contents, I thought it time to create a device which would not only prevent the same happening again, but also keep the glue and primer in one place which can then also be carried around safely.</p> <p>For those who need the size specs, the glass bottle well is 30mm Dia. and the glue bottle well is 25mm x 35mm.</p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Prusa</p> <p><p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>i3 MK3</p></div><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p><p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2</p> <p><p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>15</p></div><br/> <strong>Filament:</strong><br/> Generic PLA PLA or PLA+ <br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong> </p><div><p>Brims are a must on this one if using PLA, although you might get away without brims if using PLA+.<br/> (I usually use Dimafix by default anyway.)</p> <p>Be aware though that at 0.2mm resolution and 15% infill, it will take just under 6 hours to print, but will still save a lot of hassle and expense when it is used.</p> <h3> Post-Printing</h3> <p>Nothing much to do really, except smooth off the flat surfaces, round them off and square up the base with removal of the brim etc., using either a half-round or flat file.</p> <h3> How I Designed This</h3> <p>First created the cone as a standalone unit and then decided to add the glue holder to make it a self-contained all-in-one unit.</p> <p>There is a shallow well to hold a few blunt-needle glue tips for fine work and a fourth, taller well at the back for holding longer glue applicators /pens etc.</p> </div></p></p></p></p> Category: Organization
