If you download or collect one of my designs, please give me a like! ___ Updated (2018-12-31): I redesigned the cam holder and mounted it on Part two of my Raspi case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3316362). Advantages are: 1. static webcam position, much better for focussing. 2. nothing mounted on moving parts of the printer. The cam mount (Part 1) might fit for other webcams too, if you take the STL and redesign it a bit. ___ Original text: for my Octoprint project I searched for a webcam holder for my Logitec C910. However, I did not found any appropriate design. Therefore I designed one on my own. Since I wanted to keep the heat bed moving masses as low as possible, and on the right side of the printer I have already a spool holder, I decided to create the webcam holder for the left side of the printer. It only needs one screw for mounting the cam holder into the arm. The arm itself is clipped into the left Z axis stepper case. I took the c910 holder into apart following this pictures here (http://arts-tech-creation.blogspot.com/2011/08/hack-deconstruct-c910-logitech-webcam.html) and designed a cam holder block which can use the serial cam flaps without any need for modifying/destroying something. The cam slips into the block and holds by friction. If not, there is a little hole where you could put a small piece of wire or a needle or a tiny screw into it that would fix the cam into its position.
