Logitech C270 Webcam Mount for Original Prusa i3 MK2

The camera mount was inspired by the Logitech C270 mount by kareem613 and the Prusa i3 MK2 Sport Camera Holder created by mikolaszuza. Their inspirations, along with the fantastic customizer Nuts and Bolts by mike_mattala are linked in the Remix section. The mount slips over the Y-carriage frame support on front right side of the MK2. The C270 camera mount is attached to the camera using it's own hinge pin. The dual diameter bolt fits through the sliding mount. The collar slides down from the top, leaving the M5 diameter threads available for the camera mount and nuts. I use two nuts to act as a locking nut arrangement. Note: To remove the original weighted Logitech mount from the camera, use a thin knife to remove the covers over the ends of the hinge pin. You should then be able to use a screwdriver to remove the pin. You may need to push the pin out with a thin screwdriver or similar tool. The printed camera mount will be loose on the hinge. I used a small (M3?) metal washer at one end of the hinge pin, and a very small rubber washer at the other end of the hinge pin as shown in the photos above. The C270 field of view is quite narrow. The camera can not see the whole bed. I plan to experiment with different lens/lens covers to try for a wider field of view. Print Settings Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 40% Notes: You may need supports on certain pieces depending on what orientation you print. The bolt, for example, will print much faster laying on the bed, but will need supports. I also used supports for the C270 camera mount. Note that the sliding bracket needs to be able to handle the heat from the MK42 heated bed. I used Raptor PLA from MakerGeeks which I anneal in an oven after printing. It has held up well. ABS, PETG, or other high-temp PLAs such as the HTPLA from Proto-Pasta will work as well. Post-Printing
