My gear knob from AliExpress came with an adaptor with a heap of grub screws that kept coming loose. I printed the great adaptor by jorgepatilawa, this is a very nice fit and probably wouldn't come off, but I wanted to make use of the holes and a couple of grub screws that came with my unit, and the stock screw to make sure it isn't going anywhere. My remix added some thickness, fills over the top of the shaft to attach with the stock screw, a grove and slot for cable ties for cable management. After the first print which is the same size as the original I decided to try shinking the height, attached are one 10mm shorter and then 15mm shorter, I am currently running the -15. You will need supports from the build plate for the screw top. To fit, place the adaptor on the shaft and use stock screw to hold it tight, insert the knob and screw in the grub screws, with the flat sides and screws should stop any possible movement and being sunk in should stop them coming out. I printed with 4 walls and 50% to make it super solid. Original is noted for the G29, mine is a G27 and I am fairly sure no changes have been made for the shifters on the G920 and G923 so it should work, but untested. Update 1 (7/7/23) - I just added a -25mm version, this is about the min height you will get with this design, the shaft screw is just a few mm short of the top of the knob whole. This is also able to be printed SUPPORT FREE, I added some bridging layers below screw hole, even with PETG which doesn't bridge great this worked with only a little clean-up required. I have installed and had it on for 1 test drive without drama.
