I would have been less salty and wounded if you didnt just leave such a short comment without any details about what went wrong in your instalation ! English is not my first language. Maybe I should have take some time to explained it better. So ! I had those screws in hand from another project. I reuse them since they were exactly what i need for this mod. I put the hexagonal nuts in their holes by heating them( so I design it to be a tight fit). Since its really easy to find those type of bolts/nuts in any hardware store near me, I tought it was perfect for everyone. In fact, I purchased those at my corner store near the car wipers ;) And yes, the angle, (the slope) is part of my design ! The cable ties won't do their job here because the brace needs to be well tightened on the steering wheel base. Youre right, it is meant to be pushed inward so that there's less travel for the paddles. Again, it is part of the whole design. A short throw paddle shifter. I thought it was obvious by the photo and video and the part design itself. My bad. Yeah I know, those magnets can ( and they will) jump between each holes. Some painters/tuck tape did the trick to let epoxy cure 10 minutes. It was an easy fix for me. No need for specific tools here i think. The weight of an old small book would have done the trick too, im sure ;) The magnets were placed exactly were they needed to be, they cant be more distant. The tickness of the thing was perfect for me, no grinding at all. Strong and solidly built. In fact there is at least 3/16'' (5mm) between the logitech body and part I designed.''
