Long Arm for Filament Spool

Long Arm for Filament Spool

This takes advantage of the larger print area on RepRaps by printing the arm as one piece, avoiding the need for a dovetail joint in the middle of the arm, thus also saving material. Instructions Uncomment the LongArm section, rather than the other two Arm sections -- you'll also want to uncomment ForkClip section: translate([30,-9,0]) rotate(loosen()) ForkClip(); translate([-65,-25,0]) LongArm(); I've left this commented in this file though, since I'm including it elsewhere to use the Spindle for my Bezier based Spindle (see: http://things.hands.com/thing/PrusaFilamentSpool/ ) BTW You only need the Hub.stl rather than the SpoolHubSet.stl from thing:8317 if you're doing this for a Prusa, since the extra bits in the Hub Set are for Makerbots.
