I recently bought a roll of filament that did not fit on the filament holder on my Prusa. I figured I could put it on the pegboard behind the printer, but the long IKEA hooks for the pegboard were a bit too short. Thankfully, my 3D printer came to the rescue with these elongated and reinforced hooks! In the picture, I have used two hooks to hold a 700 gram roll of filament with a pencil for the spindle, but I imagine it could hold quite a bit more weight if required.
