Longboat Prusa Mendel Fan Holder

This is my first "Thing". This is a fan holder to mount a 40mm Fan to cool the Sanguinololu electronics on a Longboat Prusa Mendel. The Longboat kit has a 5mm thick ABS board on which the Sanguinololu electronics are mounted. This holder is designed to slip on to the edge of that board and provide an airflow over the Power Transistors and the Pololus Stepper Motor drivers. Instructions Download the OpenSCAD .scad file. Open it in OpenSCAD. Render the object (F6). Export the object as a .STL file. Slice the .STL file in your favourite slicing software. Print. Mount a 40mm Fan using 2 x M3 Bolts and nuts The Slot for the 5mm ABS board maybe slightly too wide, so you may need to glue the holder to the end of the board. Connect the fan to the 12V supply pins on the Sanguinololu board, next to the Z-Axis EndStop connector.
