This is a larger, easier to grab knob (balance wheel) for the Loops & Threads brand handheld sewing machine commonly found at Michael's. This knob allows you to more easily and accurately move the arm up to get it out of the way of your fabric. I found the knob that came with the machine was just too thin to actually move to the correct spot and hold while managing the machine.
