Lord Nibbler Articulated

Lord Nibbler Articulated

Lord Nibbler, as articulated as is reasonable. He is around 1 1/2" tall with movable arms, legs, head, and removable cape. He will have a spaceship soon. Instructions This guy took some work and many iterations to get one that was reliable. Besides just being fun, he's articulated to sit in his spaceship. My printer is down, so I can't print a spaceship to make sure it's reliable. I altered this model without a printer to test it, so if there are problems, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. The head printed best with the face in the z direction, as is saved. Print it with a brim. I recommend printing the body halves with brims also, as this helps to keep the small bits that hold the legs in place. Unfortunately, the cape needs supports. I used a brim with this also to keep the ends that go beside the neck in place. Trim all the brims and glue the halves together with the arms and legs in place. I left the cape unglued and it can be removed if you want. For the third eyeball, I used a sewing pin. If you do not have a drill small enough to make the hole, you can use my favorite way of making a hole- friction drilling. Chuck a sewing pin in the dremel and at 10,000 rpm, drill the hole. It works well. Check back later for more accessories.
