This is a rough sketch of the slide clip that is inside the door card of a 2005 Lotus Elise. Although the door card is held in with 5 screws and 2 velcro strips, this clip at the rear of the door card requires the door card to be slid toward the rear of the car to be removed, else parts get ripped. Here is the clip in case it gets ruined when the door card is improperly removed.
