This is the core for the LHD Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special stalk surround which was also used on the late Elan Plus 2's. Another hard to find item that I decided to make. You will have to glue and wrap the top, sides and bottom with 1/4" foam but not the face. Then a vinyl wrap on top of that. I use something called Whisper Vinyl which is much more pliable than normal automotive vinyl and makes wrapping around tight edges and corners without wrinkles easy. You will have to sand the part smooth as the rafts and supports adds a lot of unwanted artifacts, but it will be unseen and wrapped when finished. Good luck. You will need to flex the part into position as the original part, so use 100% infill for strength. Post-Printing All dimensions will replicate the original once the foam and vinyl are added Given the raft and supports, sanding is required I made the column opening 1.5" instead of the original 2" as the mount screw at the 6 O'clock position did not fit well on the original and the 2" was unnecessary.
