I've never been satisfied with existing designs: * They are loose and can rattle when traveling or even fall off * The ones that are not loose require a lot of sanding later to eliminate elephant foot. * They usually have holes in the base so dust can get into the gimbal * The hole for the stick is too small and getting the stick the get in the hole is annoying. This design features a thicker base with a bevel to compensate for elephant foot providing a snug fit with minimal sanding, no holes to keep dust away, and the hole in the middle is wider at the bottom so the stick slides in easily.
