The more diverse the form and colour of an object, the easier it is to scan. This lounge chair scanned with Artec Eva is fairly monotone, and its geometrical pattern is rather repetitive too. In cases like this, it’s a good idea to add some texture. We drew some x marks on bits of masking tape and stuck them to the seat cushion and the rails. The masking tape can easily be removed afterwards, both from the object and from the 3D model. Scanning time – 20 min Processing time – 30 min
