Loutrophoros, a testament to the ancient Greeks' reverence for the dead around 500-480 BCE, stands proudly in the Musée du Cinquantenaire (Brussels, Belgium), skillfully crafted with ReMake and ReCap from AutoDesk. Loutrophoroi were instrumental in transporting water used in purification rituals preceding weddings or funerals. In funeral rites, women meticulously cleansed the body before anointing it with fragrant oil and dressing it to be placed on a ceremonial bier. Identical vases served as grave markers or offerings, paying tribute to the deceased.
