Low-Poly Charmeleon

Low-Poly Charmeleon

thingiverse

This is Charmeleon, the second evolution of Charmander. Now in low-poly, which is like a 3-dimensional nod to the original pixel art where most Pokemon were crafted. I took the Low-Poly Charmander by FLOWALISTIK and then significantly altered the body, legs, and tail. It made a great starting point. Then I cut off the head and arms and made those from scratch. The result is about double the polygon count, but I still feel it fits the art style of the other Low-Poly Pokemon on Thingiverse. My other goal was to make it an easy print without any need for support structures. And it worked! Hope you all like his relaxed, looking up off into the distance pose. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 30% Notes: If your printer is precise, and your print bed sticky, you should be able to hit "start print" and then walk away. A few hours later you'll have a Charmeleon waiting for you.
