# Low Poly Christmas Bauble ## (Icosphere Puzzle) Ever wanted low poly Christmas tree ornaments? Well, that is not a big deal – you can simply create a an “icosphere” in [Blender](http://www.blender.org), modify it to your needs, and print it. But how a about breaking this down into a puzzle and let the family or friends raise it from 2D to 3D? Here is a solution based on a so-called [regular icosahedron](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regular_icosahedron) (which is equal to Blender’s icosphere with 1 subdivision). This can be split into 20 identical tiles. I made a hole in one tile, so a wire (or something similar) can be inserted for mounting the completed bauble to a tree. In this project, you will find two versions: 1. Only the pieces. 2. All the pieces as a one-piece-plate. **Have fun!**
