Low Poly Hex Lamp
myminifactory
I absolutely love how this looks. Where I live we get a lot of natural light, so it bounced really well off of each panel. The shade was printed in vase mode, so it's best suited to an upper shelf. I really want to get some RGB bulbs for this and light up a room. The cutaway shape for the stem was inspired by this Maker's Muse video (Follow him on MMF and maybe he'll upload something :P). The low poly was generated in F360. This was an absolute blast to make, so expect lots of low poly stuff coming. Just remember to print the shade with a bunch of bottom layers (at least 6) so it fits well over the base. Also use a couple extra top layers on the base so the top surfaces are clean (mine are not).
