This is a lower profile fin stack cap to replace the original cap on the Deepcool AK400 CPU tower cooler.

Using the AK400 in a Cooler Master NR200 case, I found that the pre-installed fin stack cap adds an extreme amount of unnecessary height to the tower causing it to be in contact with the vented side panel when closed. This replacement cap reduces the tower height enough so that when the side panel flexes, it doesn't transfer force to the tower cooler and inline components.

Both a blank version and one with my branding are provided. The original screws from the pre-installed cap are re-used for installation of this cap. Simply pry the black plate off of the pre-installed cap and unscrew the 2 hex head screws to allow the silver cap to be removed, then install this replacement cap using the same two screws. Note that the lip around the edge of the replacement cap doesn't exceed the height of the heat pipes and thus serves only as adornment.
