Low Profile Glass Frame and Internal Spool Holder Upgrades for Flashforge Inventor

The glass frame is designed to interface with the Flashforge Inventor 3D printer and the glass plate upgrade from Flashforge USA. It supports the glass dimension (L x W x H) 9 x 6 x 0.15 inches. The glass must be installed on top of the Flashforge build tape and aluminum build plate. It is meant to be printed using a 3D printer with a much larger build plate than the Flashforge Inventor (e.g. Creality Sermoon D1) and with high temperature filament such as the Proto-Pasta HTPLA (and annealed). The fit is tight, so for the annealing, I placed the aluminum build plate (without heater board) + original build tape + glass + 3D printed glass frame in the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. The frame is designed to be of sufficiently low profile to accommodate the build plate movements in proximity of the internal filament spools. No clips or anything in the path of the nozzle as the frame sits lower than the glass. Everything is held in place by gravity. The riser and roll parts are designed to allow many brands of 1 kg spools to be mounted inside of the printer. Qty 2 risers can be used (one on each side) to raise the existing spool holders (new longer screws may be required). Qty 2 rolls can be used to further raise the spool and accommodate larger diameter spool centres. The resulting clearances are very close but they worked for me. I have become used to having to lower the build plate fully to change spools and I am finally happy with this setup.
