I sought a straightforward, low-key solution for hanging items from the wall without breaking the bank or using excess materials. This lightweight skateboard deck didn't require the hook to be extremely slender, but now I can repurpose the design for other projects that call for wire or string, ensuring a secure and balanced hang without unnecessary stress on the adhesive. I opted for the large 3-meter adhesives, which measure 19 millimeters wide by 68 long – the sticky section is substantial. These versatile strips are easily found in most supermarkets and stationery stores. The hook itself is surprisingly robust, given its thin profile. In fact, it's designed to pull away from the wall before the hook gives out, providing added peace of mind for your hanging needs.
