Low profile mini XLR back cap

thingiverse

A simple cap to make a male mini XLR shorter and lower profile. This piece replaces the metal part and stock cap. Keep the milky white plastic piece, there is a ring in the print for it. The stock cable hole is 4mm. Remix to make smaller or bigger (or drill it out) Most cable support is from solder joints, so solder it good! Pictures included of internal anatomy, comparison and the metal piece you remove Included step files for better resolution Link to mini XLRs I used: https://www.amazon.com/Female-Connector-Microphone-Socket-Adapter/dp/B00W4MHZBY/ref=sr_1_5?crid=GWV4ENEPT5RF&keywords=onelinkmore%2Bmini%2Bxlr&qid=1687933614&sprefix=onelinkmore%2Bmini%2Bxlr%2Caps%2C88&sr=8-5&th=1
