Low profile on wall home theater surround speakers

These speakers are designed as home theater surrounds for short, wide rooms where it is impossible to meet the Dolby speaker placement recommendations. My room is 13' deep x 18' wide, with a sectional couch all the way in the corner. This necessitates a speaker that can be placed high on a wall with very wide dispersion. The Tectonics TEBM46 BMR loudspeaker meets the dispersion requirements and can be placed nearly flat against the wall with the full passband available all the way up to 90 degrees off axis. This means that it still sounds good even if you sit directly underneath the speaker. The other design constraint was that I would eventually place these speakers in the wall. In my house there is only 2" (50 mm) of wall depth before you hit brick. These speakers are designed to fit in 2" depth. I intend to eventually cut holes in the wall and place these speakers into the wall with a suitable magnetic grill cover for a professional looking installation. NOTE - I am designing and testing corner-mount versions of these speakers for Atmos use between a low soffit and the ceiling. They should perform identically, but look different.
