the upper twist lock unit needs to be turned 90° after installing inside the corner of the container. afterwards the locking pin needs to be pushed to lock the upper unit with a spring driven mechanism in place. the lower unit contains a torsion spring, therefore it locks and unlocks itself in the corner of the lower container. in case the container needs be stored on the ground, the lower twist lock unit can be pushed in. Since it releases itself after lifting up the container, there's no need for any removal of the twist lock.
