Lucina Great Lord Shield

Great lord shield for Lucina (Fire Emblem). Designed flat for ease in 3D printing. Warmed up and bent for final shape forming. Heat welded together with a fat tip soldering iron at the seams. This leaves it plenty strong. Each piece is cut to fit onto my rigidbot big 3d printer, so you may need to take the combined file and slice it up with netfabb to fit your printer. Total height is just over 24 inches at the provided scale. As an after-though, I added a printed handle for the shield (also included in files now). Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 200um Infill: 10 Notes: Printed on a RigidBot Big. Post-Printing Warm up in an oven or with a heat gun (carefully) and bend to desired curvature in shield. Heat welded together with a fat tip soldering iron at the seams. Smear seam together. Add scrap filament and melt with iron into seams if needed (not usually necessary). How I Designed This Modelling Modelled from online images in autodesk inventor. Geometries decided on-the-fly based on images and what I thought looked "right".
