Lucky Love Clover Colston DiBlasi 9/9/19 George Mason University Math 401 Mathematics Through 3D Printing I used the heart from the SCAD tutorial we did in class and translated it to create the four-leaf clover shape. It started out as a square that had two cylinders next to it. Then I translated those cylinders into the square to make a heart. After I had one heart I then made a heart reflected across from that original heart. Instead of stoping there I then rotates the hearts to make a four-leaf clover. Therefore I made four hearts into one four-leaf clover hence the name Lucky Love Clover. I successfully printed this on the Makerbot Replicator (5th generation) with red ABS plastic. I used a 20% fill, which gave me a print time of 21 minutes. I printed this part with a raft underneath to ensure I would get an even base layer. I then waited about 5 minutes in order to give my print come time to cool. Then after removing the print I gently broke off the raft, giving me just the clover.
