Please always attribute Lucky13 and his authorship of the original model in any event where it is used. My modifications to this part are minuscule. He did a ton of work to make these a reality and deserves all the credit.This model is made to be quickly and easily printed school merch for STEM and specifically robotics. I have included my school's logo as an example (and for the other people at my school), but it can be easily changed to any logo. Both major parts print as cards and there is enough of a gap to slip the logo shield into that card. The peg is only for aligning and the logo should be glued in place. My school logo has blue, white, and gold. In addition, I gave it a black border. This makes for three required layer changes as shown in the print file. I recommend filling your print bed with these tiny logos to minimize layer changes. Try to make your own logo features appear at multiples of your print height (0.1 mm was my choice).After doing an event with these, I have some notes for those trying to mass-produce them. First, I will say that the students all seemed to love the little figures and that this is definitely a fun giveaway for STEM events. Second, I recommend printing in something stronger than PLA like PETG or ASA as Lucky13 said. Most of the models worked fine in PLA, but occasionally, a student would break a joint. I also recommend giving the students access to pliers. They help in the assembly. Also, be very careful with the cards. The parts are barely held on and easily break off before you want them to. Also, you can print 4 instructions per piece of paper. There is definitely a lot of work that could be done to refine this model for mass production that I don't have time to do right now. Hopefully, this inspires some people to pick up where I left off.This is also where I shamelessly plug my alma mater LeTourneau University. I hope y'all are able to use this model.
