The Mini 2's original fan design is fully enclosed and can result in total chaos during a failed print. If a part slips, it is sucked into the shroud and totally incases the head. This redesign is open from one side but still blows air from four sides. Easy install, you do not need to remove the print head to install. Print with ABS or PETg or other high temp plastic.
