Lulzbot Mini lower z left camellia - lid design

thingiverse

This is a modification of the original Lulzbot Mini lower z camellia. Design consists of two pieces. The bottom part has to be fixed once and then you never need to worry about it. The lid is fixed to the bottom part with bolts. It is easy to remove allowing good access to the shaft coupler and stepper motor for maintenance. I originally used the v1.1 camellia in my printer. The difficulty was that if the stepper motor or the shaft coupler had to be renewed it required a lot of disassembly of the printer to get proper access to the area. So once I finally got my camellia removed I decided I'm not going to put a similar new one in place. I then checked the v1.6 model which enables better access but I felt it is not good enough considering how difficult it would be to renew it if someday that turned out necessary. It looked less rigid than the original design due to open front and the design was with two bolts fixing (for damped stepper motor). I don't have dampers so design was unsuitable for me without modification. I then decided to create this design for easy maintenance. You need 3 pcs M4 inserts nuts to use the model. Check the picture for reference.
