The TAZ 3 has one major problem to me, the fact that the x-end stop is where it is. This part enables the TAZ3 to have left mounted cooling fans (i threw in a regular right fan mount as well just to keep everything symmetrical. Also, because there wasn't room for the fan to be mounted on the exterior of the duct, I made it an "internal" fan (just cut extruded the size of the 40mm fan to make a hole for fan insert), there is a .3mm tolerance for the 40mm fan to fit in, this matches the TAZ perfectly. The fan wires are routed through the hole in the side of the model. To make everything sexy, I used some LED Strip Connection Wire for the connections, I can now hot swap the fans and disable one fan without disabling the other. I used some heat shrink to make everything super sexy, and now I have a sexy and working cooling system for my TAZ 3.
