L2 and L3 lumbar vertebrae sectioned from CT scan images (see Osirix website for free datasets) and meshed using Simpleware ScanIP + FE module. Converted to a NURBS model and exported to Solidworks for rendering. Used for spinal implant design and FE analysis on Abaqus.
