Designed for 50mm fans, I use a 50x50x10mm Cooler Master EFB512LA, but I think it could be a bit stronger when using a filter. There is room for deeper fans!

I printed in black PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.25mm layers.

UPDATE: Added a plate and hose segments to get the suction where needed. See print settings for how to print the hose elements!

You need some M3 bolts, some self tappers or such for the stand, two M4 bolts and locknuts. There are cutouts for a switch and a DC sockets for charging. I needed only to file/bore some screw holes a bit, other than that no work needed.

Next time I would enforcen the top part of the stand a bit, which may be not needed with PLA, PETG is quite flexible here.

Update: I installed a "3S BMS Charger Protection Board" which will protect the LiIon Cells from overload and deep discharge. Charge Plug works also, did use the switch on the DC socket to switch off the fan while charging, I think that is not needed, maybe I rewire it someday when I find empty batteries and have to solder ;-)

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: Solder fan smoke

Licence: Creative Commons - Attribution Category: DIY Print Settings

Printer: Prusa i3 mk2

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.4x0.25mm

Infill: Cubic

Notes:

There is some custom support in the bottom stand piece which should print one bridge layer and is easy to remove.

Be sure to print the FixingPlate.stl and the Arm two times. Orient the pieces so that you can print without support (stand open to top etc)

To print the hose segments use Vase Mode and print with overextrusion. I did set my layer width to 0.62mm (0.4 Nozzle). Maybe add 0.5mm brim.

I did use hot glue to fix the first segment.
