Lots of people still like M&Ms and their sales match it so there won’t be a decline in M&M sales unlike PEZ’s absence in the mass media in the past decade and there could be a revival of this sort of product with a better candy cause less people like PEZ vs M&Ms as well as a need to get a good amount of M&Ms that pouring can’t get you. It is a simple mechanism consisting of a crank system with a gear attached, a tube that is the diameter of a M&M that you put the candy into before dispensing, disk that has 8 holes slightly bigger than an M&M so that the candy can fall out with gear things on the side, that catches the M&Ms. The method used for creating the product was with FDM Material ABS +My product satisfies the need for collector items like this as well as the need for “specific measurements” for people instead of just pouring the entire tube of M&Ms out or having to pick from a bag. Along with branding, these dispensers could help the M&M brand expand into other companies like for example, they could have a deal with Disney and Star Wars and release M&M branded Star Wars dispensers capitalizing off the revenue that star wars makes.
